Oversees and organizes production elements of the newscast. Generates copy including teases and bumps. Works closely with Executive Producer, field crews and Assignment Desk to maximize daily resources and appropriately reflect the news of the day. Works in the control room during the live newscast and communicates with the production staff and the field journalists. Also responsible for posting web content and social media updates. Desktop editing skills required.
