The anticipated start date is August 2018. The position requirements are to teach four undergraduate and/or graduate film courses in both practice and theory per semester, engage in committee service, maintain regular office hours, and participate in campus and community life. SVAD is a large and diverse unit with approximately 3,000 majors and minors across four program areas that include Architecture, Digital Media, Film, and Studio Art. SVAD offers undergraduate B.F.A. and B.A. degrees in Film, as well as an M.F.A. in Emerging Media – Entrepreneurial Digital Cinema. Faculty in the Film program support the M.F.A. degree by giving critiques, mentoring, chairing and serving on graduate thesis committees.
