The candidate will be handling ad processing for print and digital magazines. Primary responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

Print – positioning, previewing, cropping ad files, positioning fractionals , troubleshooting file problems, template creation for non-standard units, transmitting files and getting appropriate sign offs, covering front end for vacations / current weeks. For specific titles, it will also include ad reconciliation, checking against IOs , material associations.

Digital – previewing and processing DFT and EFT materials, activating functionality for interactive features (i.e. enabling weblinks , building hotspot layers and slideshows, uploading video content, creating videos for advertiser sign-off, troubleshooting HTML5 , etc.), creating dossiers where necessary, placing tablet ads within existing InDesign documents, cross checking paperwork for position and run order, testing URLs, participating in Q&A before upload.

The ideal candidate must be adaptable, multi-task oriented, have strong time management skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of InDesign is critical. The candidate should have very strong communication skills and must be willing to work within the “team” concept. Flexible hours required, possibly some nights.
