The Christian Broadcast Network  ( CBN ) has an exciting opportunity for a Video Editor to operate editing equipment and related software within the guidelines of established technical standards and procedures, and provide creative input and logistical support to the editing session, resulting in the successful completion of client projects under the supervision of the Supervising Editor. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: Possess working knowledge of computer editing systems and software and possess editing conceptual abilities with ability to learn new and advanced technology quickly. Ability to exercise judgment given a script or project with the willingness and ability to choose appropriate media appropriate Working knowledge of NTSC and PAL digital television standards. Possess good color perception and fine attention to visual and composition detail. Cooperative attitude with all staff and clients, display good decision-making skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent computer skills. Ability to take initiative and think creatively. Ability to work well under intense pressure and with people in close proximity. Ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team. Punctual, regular and consistent in attendance. Ability to sit for long periods of time.
