Time Consumer Marketing is responsible for building and monetizing consumer demand for the world’s most trusted media content. Specifically, the Consumer Marketing group generates revenues and profits for the magazines, websites, and digital products at Time Inc. The group creates compelling marketing campaigns that keep readers engaged with our brands and develops exciting partnership opportunities with external companies and agencies to help drive traffic to our sites.
Summary of the Role:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of digital and print customer acquisitions across all sources for 3 exciting brands ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY, ESSENCE& PEOPLE EN ESPANOL.

This position is a highly visible role with brand senior management and will report directly into Senior Marketing Manager and oversee the Associate Marketing Manager.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for and making strategic recommendations to senior management, implementing creative development of marketing campaigns and analyzing campaign results.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Edition Marketing
• Refine digital CRM strategy
• Lead discovery efforts across all channels and collaborate with Innovation and Strategy team on conversion growth
• Develop innovate marketing campaigns with third-party vendors including Google Play, Apple and Amazon

Email Marketing
• Develop targeted marketing plans to grow business, optimize current segmentation and corresponding streams
• Develop Lead Generation campaigns to acquire new prospects
Direct Mail Marketing
• Responsible for developing cohesive Direct Mail testing strategy and collaborate with centralized direct mail teams to implement.


Forecasting/ Reconciliations
• Candidate will also assist in managing monthly expense reconciliations, forecasting and budgeting.

Key Qualifications:
• 3+ years in direct marketing/ digital marketing experience with a strong consumer strategy planning, project management and data analysis background
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including the ability to assess ROI across marketing channels
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across multiple groups and communicate effectively with both peers and upper management, both written and verbally
• P&L and staff management experience
• Self-starter who can work both independently and in team environments
• Ability to multi-task and perform in fast pace changing environment while managing multiple projects, setting priorities and meeting deadlines


Position reports into Senior Marketing Manager. Prior direct marketing experience a plus. Multi-cultural and Niche marketing experience a plus
