Zynga is looking for a mid-level to senior level software engineer to join our Payments team and help reach more customers worldwide by supporting internationalization, international payment processors, and new payment processors and methods.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain payment processing systems to support increasing traffic and expanded payment options
• Work with the payments team, business teams, and game development teams to understand requirements, and translate those requirements into reliable software solutions using best practices development processes and architectures
• Develop and use unit tests to evaluate payment systems

Required Skills:

• Bachelor?s degree required
• 4+ years in Java Server development
• Some knowledge of web services REST, HTTP Protocols
• 2 years experience with MySQL
• Ability to query database to find patterns in data
• Data-driven approach to tuning and optimization
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid experience documenting code and designs
