Genevieve OkupniakAnimator/Filmmaker Genevieve Okupniak is a multi-faceted artist and educator. She holds Bachelors degrees in Animation and Filmmaking and a Masters degree in Film Directing. She has worked on over thirty short film projects and two feature film projects ranging from director/producer to storyboard artist and animator. Her films have been in a variety of film festivals including CineVegas, Fantasia, and Philadelphia Film Festival. For the past five years, she has been working for the Art Institutes in Academic Affairs with the Visual Effects and Motion Graphics, Digital Filmmaking, and Animation departments. Currently, she is the Academic Director of the Digital Filmmaking department at the Art Institute of New York City. |
