The role: Google Apps Small Business Sales and Operations Manager As an Operatons Manager, you will lead and build the Google Apps Small Business Sales and Operations team. This is both an operational and leadership role for a motivated self-starter who can build a team and sell an excellent product offering, working closely with cross-functional counterparts in marketing, product management and support. You should be extremely proactive, organized, detail-oriented, analytical and have people management experience. You should also work well within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Manage Google Apps sales for the small business segment, developing scalable and innovative approaches to effectively sell into a broad customer base.
- Manage sales operations. Responsibilities include business analysis, reporting, forecasting and customer relationship management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups to enhance the Google Apps online sales, product and support offering for the small business market.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Google Apps Reseller Program, working closely with the Reseller Program Management team.
Requirements: - BA/BS degree preferred with strong academic performance. Advanced degree a plus.
- At least 7 years of sales, ecommerce, or related experience with proven track record of success.
- People management experience and demonstrated track record in leading and motivating teams.
- Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of Google management.
- Self starting, proven leader with strong analytical skills, capable of challenging, developing, and inspiring a talented and diverse team.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong web technology skills preferred.
