A previous ANNIE award nominee, Alx Meza has been developing and working with the 2D-digital animation pipeline for the past ten years. With an assertive drive, Alx has led animation teams, locally & internationally, in surpassing TV production standards by assisting in the development of a pipeline that ensured the delivery of nine (22 min.) episodes within ten months while working with an all States-side crew ("Kid Notorious" 2003, Comedy Central); and most recently, as overseas production consultant in Bulgaria where he designed & implemented a production pipeline that produced ten (22 min.) episodes in seven months ("Lil Bush, Season Two" 2008, Comedy Central).

Apart from the animation industry, Alx has also employed his cartoon animation skills in the world of advertising as a Graphic Artist & Illustrator for such clients as Leo Burnett, Tropicana OJ, Evite and Global Sophisticate Records. He currently is developing his own episodic animation content & art which predominantly features Latino based characters through his consulting company Cartoon Quarry, which serves as an idea-developing production house that focuses on creative project development and 2D digital pipeline design.

Alx Meza has participated in two panel discussions regarding the 2D digital animation pipeline together with other industry leaders. The first was for the Women in Animation group held at Cartoon Network, and the second panel with the Producers Guild of America hosted at Warner Bros. Animation.
